NOISE, IMPULSE AND BAROTRAUMA
Musicians. Soldiers. Rescue workers. Aviation workers. Factory workers. Motorsport athletes. Everyone in these professions is at risk of impulse-noise hearing damage. Less well known is that hearing loss can strike not only with age, past the forties, but also those who spend their days in a constantly elevated noise floor. Drivers. Nightclub staff. Fitness trainers. Teachers. Construction workers. Dentists and hairdressers. Several illnesses and hobbies - hunting, diving, skydiving - can also lead to barotrauma of the eardrum.
THE OtoGYM APP IS A GYM
The golden training area is for daily prevention and sound training. Use good-quality headphones and create your personal hearing profile. The app generates a sound training that suits you and keeps adjusting it according to your feedback. Choose a time that fits your day and use personal training to work on your problem areas.
ON THE SILVER SPA SIDE YOU WILL FIND THE MODULES
- Tinnitus
- Migraine
- Focus
- Sleep well
Personal. We do not just give you pre-recorded
sound files to listen to. We give you a personal audio
generator to find the combination of sounds that most precisely
matches your need to suppress tinnitus or a migraine attack.
The
self-learning generator adjusts its working file based on your
feedback and, with systematic use, offers suggestions when you
make your choices.
DATA
OtoGYM Beta stores only the telemetry data that is needed to run the app and that lets it work offline as well.
Using OtoGYM Beta requires no account and no contact details - we do not know who you are.
Your health data - for example how strong your migraine attack was or which session helped against tinnitus - stays strictly on your device and is never sent to the server. You can view and delete the collected data at any time in the app settings.
OtoGYM is a wellness and training-support app, not a medical device. We do not diagnose, treat or give health advice. If a headache or tinnitus is severe, becoming more frequent or different from usual, be sure to see your doctor.
